Seeing how I get to work again (3rd year in a row now) both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (nights) as well as NewYears (eve and day (nights)), Keeping the "friendly skies" safe and making sure that travellers get to and from their destinationswith no mechanical breakdowns (can't do anything about the weather).
I'll wish everyone here a Merry Christmas early as I am bound to forget between now and then. Have a safe and fun day (s) and when you sit down to eat the turkey (and then leftovers) take a moment and remember those who are unable to do the same, send a quick prayer out to our Armed Forces around the World, to the hundreds of Emergency workers on shift who will try and keep you safe. Also take a moment to raise a glass to those who have "left" during the past year.
And once you have had one too many wobbly pops raise your glass high and salute the fatman in the tiny sleigh who plays with elf's and raindeer's, He does exsist, I see him every year at work as he flies over. ;D
From me and my family to you and your families.

A different twist on an favorite story. Not written by me.
THE RV NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS
'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the land RVers were sleeping in their great big tin cans. The stockings were hung by the fridge with great care In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds While memories of family trips danced in their heads. And Ma in her sweater and I in my shorts Were watching TV - a show of some sorts.
When out in our campsite there arose such a clatter, I sprung from the gaucho to see what's the matter. To the window I flew, heart full of fear. I pulled up the blinds to see what was near.
Then what to my wondering eyes did appear, But a giant red sleigh and a bunch of reindeer! When I saw the driver I realized real quick This must be the ever so famous St. Nick!
Faster than Dodge Dualies his coursers did tow, And no hint of sway, not even in snow! He looked at his team and started to bellow. He had a loud voice, this Santa Claus fellow!
"Now Dasher, now Dancer, now Prancer and Vixen, On Comet, on Cupid, on Donder and Blitzen! To the roof of that trailer, to the top of them all, Dash away, dash away, dash away all!"
So up on my trailer those reindeer, they flew! With a sleigh full of toys and St. Nicholas, too. Then, in a twinkling, up on my roof, I heard the prancing of all those big hooves!
"The roof will cave in, we're all going to die!" I thought of insurance and started to cry. I got it together and was turning around, When from the bathroom there came a strange sound.
A thumping came out of the toilet that night, Old Santa had come down the wrong darn vent pipe! I opened the dump valve and out Santa came, Covered with substances I don't care to name.
With a wink of his eye and a nod of his head, He was magically cleaned - there was nothing to dread. A bundle of toys he had with him, cinched tight. He looked just like my wife on laundry night.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work, He filled all our stockings, and turned with a jerk. Then turning the crank while standing on his toes, He gathered himself up and out the roof vent he rose.
He jumped in his sleigh, to his team gave a holler, And away they all flew - just like RVing dollars! But I heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, "Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

Thank You, sir. For the Christmas wishes, for your work at your job, (not to worry, I'll never be a part of your work load... I'm scared of planes), and mostly for that Story Variation. That was Great!! ;D I could say Happy Holidays to all and be all Politically Correct about things, but I'd rather not. I'd rather say Merry Christmas instead. So there you have it.
Liked it so much, I'm gonna Sticky this one thru the weekend.

How can you be scared of planes!!! their cute I agree throw the political correctness out the window. Its MERRY CHRISTMAS or go back to your religions home country. Scared of Planes. Simple really. Statistically speaking, they crash a LOT less often than cars or trucks. I understand that. But when they DO crash.... most passengers are dead as a result. Now then, I've Lived thru 3 major car crashes without a scratch. Frankly, I should have died sometime back in the year 1990. But (much to some folk's chagrin) Here I still am, alive and well. ;D I guess I'm stuck on the 'Survival Rate" statistic per crash. And having gone thru 3 Should have killed me crashes in a car or truck, I guess I just don't want to press my luck by getting into a Plane.
As for PC (political correctness) I think we're together on this one. I'm not sure how it is in Canada, but for me here in the US, I figure that if you don't like the way are.... then just Shut the that VERY hot place up and Go Home!!! I'm in America Dammit!! Why do I have to press 1 to hear English! !?

No Co Owners here that can stab me in the back, ya know? EDIT: Took out an F Bomb in the last post... and said that VERY hot place instead. Merry Christmas everyone!
