SUPPLIES NEEDED Plastic Gloves
Don't you mean leather? We don't know what we will be picking up, and plastic doesn't really protect against sharp things.

I'd say, BYOG. Really, cause nothing is worse (my opinion anyhow) than gloves that are too big or too small. Heck, just ask O.J. ! LOL Seriously though, I was either planning on getting my own or not having any at all. Now, where have my CITO bags gone off to???

Good News 1: I got the truck 1/2 cleaned out. Good enough to haul crap away, and I still have some time to make it a little better for the CITO Event. No need to get the trailer out. Good News 2: Just got a Watch List email saying we'll have a little more Company for the CITO Event! GREAT! Check out the Cache Listing, posted HERE to see who's gonna join us. Hopefully they might stick around for the TB Race Event as well, but so far I've seen no email about that one. BTW, Bryan.... How's your truck coming along? Let me know if you need some help with it.

Howdy, well looks like I am gonna have a fun 2nd half of the week. Today I will be driving down to AR to drop off my Mom, then Friday I will drive back up here, work a early morning shift on sat then I will be there for the event, pending any natural disasters or other such events.

Today I will be driving down to AR to drop off my Mom, then Friday I will drive back up here, work a early morning shift on sat then I will be there for the event, pending any natural disasters or other such events. Have Safe Travels, (Jason?) and see ya there! Also, I met YarnoDe at another cache today, and he tells me he'll be at both events as well. So, that makes 10 for the CITO. Great! My truck is not Empty, but I have it half way cleared out and it's ready for service. Big white Chevy with an even bigger black capper on it. Oh, y'all will hear me comin' too, cause the exhaust just broke apart again on it. It's basically running a straight pipe aft of the cab and there's a leak at the manifold. Jeeze, I should-a bought a FORD! Anyhow, I'll be loading up the supplies either tomorrow after work or first thing Saturday AM for the CITO.

i have a partial box in the van, might need some more, trucks, trucks, trucks, its been so hectic here over the last few weeks since Leanne got laid off from work that i haven't had a chance to call and confirm a truck or not, and mine's still not running....

Big Black trash bags might be nice. Just in case. ... Bryan, yeah I just talked to Leanne tonight and found out about the lay off. That Sucks! As for the Haul Away, if the worst comes to worse, that Trailer of mine isn't too far away and it wouldn't take much to go fetch it and use it if necessary. It's about the size of a Full Truck bed, and it's just off Grinnell Road where my work place is. With a little bit of help, it would be no problem digging it back up (Literally) again to use it. As it so happens, I need to go to work tomorrow anyhow to fetch a Phone I left on my desk. It's a Pocket PC phone that I have from work that I was gonna bring along to show YarnoDe... in the hopes of getting GSAK to work on it while caching in the field. Looks like I have even More stuff to do in the AM. Better hit the sack here soon, huh? While I don't have to go to Work proper (for Pay) I do have to go to work after all. Feels pretty good to have to go to work for my/our own cause though...

OK, today's the day and I just woke up at NOON. (gotta like a day off from work...) I'll be interested in looking at C:Geo on the phone. I think that's the app that YarnoDe (Derek) was just showing me the other day. I'm planning on having a pocket PC phone too that will no longer work as a phone. Derek says I may be able to use programs like GSAK on it. Can I maybe get to a point where I can go "Paperless Geocaching"? That would be nice!

Well, what a Success!!! Turns out 11 folks showed up to help, and I have a Wheelbarrow full of bags to dump. I also got those big wooden boxes out of there that have been a bother to me since the first time I visited the Cache in that Preserve. About the only thing that sill bugs me, is that we never got rid of the spray paint crap on the plaque for the grove. Other than that, I think we all had a great time and we did get quite a bit accomplished! ;D

Event Over, so removing the Announcement Status. Also, here's a link to the album where I've placed my Pics for today's Events. Event AlbumHere's the Log Sheet pic as well.... A Big heart felt Thanks goes out to ALL of those folks who signed in on that log and lent your helping hands! This would not have been the Success that it was without all of you kind folks making the trip. Thanks!

Nearly two weeks out, I'm aware that I'm late in this... But I dumped out most of the truck this evening and counted 10 -12 bags fairly Full of Stuff for the Dumpsters. I've also got those Boxes for the bon fires we have at my dad's place. Burn baby Burn! ;D A really nice side effect from this event is... I've actually made room in that truck again to haul gear or bikes on the next Camp Trip. I just hope I can get the time off from work to go at least Once this season.
