I thought they might like our write ups for that run. Sure was fun... still can't believe we actually stayed out in the field till 9:00 PM! ;D I didn't get the email though. Bummer. Those guys must be on your 'Friends' list at the Geocache site? Anyhow, you wanna see if they'd be interested in the forums here? That Camp/Cache event sounds like something we'd really be interested in doing, and I think it'd be good to have a couple more Geocache Friends too. I think I'll send of a Friends Request right after this post.

They have some more write ups coming from us today, I took the clan to finish up that run. Nice Hides out there! We also got the L.V. Library cache that's up Rt. 41 about another mile. Then we headed back home for the day.
Man. I've put over 150 miles on that car just with Geocaching! But it was Fun though!! ;D

This is a combination of here, and the Cache of The Month:
> Hi fellow geocacher!! > > We (Scott and Peg) are so sorry it took so long to reply to your wonderful comments to our caches. It's awesome to go online and see that others (like yourself) appreciate the creativity of the hides, let alone the environment. We are honored by the "Cache of the Month - Reflections". That was Peg's idea! Your caches we've done are also creative and fun. We can't wait to do more!! We definitely want to put on an event at Willow Slough. We always thought it would be a great place. Now that more cachers are familiar with the place - it seems the right time to do it. We were thinking in the early Fall when it is a bit cooler. We hope some people will camp with us. We'll pay for some of the campsites in the back. We also plan on having a geocache poker run with prizes. Hot dogs and a campfire will also be provided. We'll have to get DNR approval - but we don't think that will be a problem as one guy "saved" KWITCHYURBELYAKIN when they were clearing an area. A CITO may help as part of the event. Let us know what you think - as this is our first event to bring to other geocachers! Your help and input will be greatly appreciately. And - of course, we'd love to meet you! HAPPY GEOTRAILS!!!

Thanks for sharing that, Bryan. It would get my folks off my back (they want me to sell the camper... not used yet this season) if I put that camper to Use! Hopefully, a trip can be had sometime this season. And if it's here, I hope I have another motor for my boat, cause that's a really nice lake to just cruise around in. Nothing fast as gas engines aren't even allowed in that lake, but just a nice gentle cruise in the boat with an electric troller motor.

Good Lord, is it ever a bit to late to still be up to make this post. But we had a that VERY hot place of an eventful run this afternoon/Tonight! ;D First off, my DD (Cowgirl Camper) and Price Charming didn't make it. Maybe that was for the better, cause we didn't finish up till after 9 PM! Also, I/we never heard back from obcjy or the Yarnos. On top of that, we had a scheduling 'error' that basically got us off to an Hour's Late of a start.
But all was a Great run after all... both the good and the bad. We ended up with 13 of the 16 we had in mind to get! For all of the details (by reading our Logs) check out each cache that Bryan put together in that Book mark list he posted up earlier in this topic. IMHO, there's some pretty Fun readings in them Found It Logs. couldn't find anything about the "OLD" car GPSr, but it won't be going on any more cache outings, and neither will my "OLD" primary GPSr as both were in my car when it was broken into a few nights ago and are both now missing If it wasn't for bad luck i wouldn't have any at all

I'm sorry to hear about the stolen GPSr's. That Sucks! Where did this break in happen? Not at home, I hope. BTW, have you seen or heard anything about the Camp Event? I hate to say this, but so late in the season.... it might actually be too impracticable for me to even get the camper rolling on the road this year. Sad for sure.... yes that sucks too.
