We don't want to sound mean, we love Geo-caching. We think when you put out the effort to hide a cache and tell a nice story about the hide, why can't cachers take the time to post a nice log? We try to make all of our hides unique and fun to find. We always tell a story in our write ups. We want cachers to have fun, trade swag, and enjoy the visit. Recently we had a new cacher visit a lot of our hides. All we received as logs was TFTC, and all were cut and paste. This happens a lot. Are people just out to get numbers Is this how the game is played?? After we visit a cache we always find something to tell of our adventure. We almost always trade swag, report moving Trackables and post adding new Trackables. We even try to post interesting pictures to our logs. Does anyone feel the same way as we do? We love Geo-Caching and hope we play the sport as it was intended. We hope we did not offend anyone. Please no more TFTC. "Happy Geo-Trails" (kayak30) Scott & Peggy

First off Welcome!! nice to see another familiar name in here,
First I'd like to apologize about all of the Cut and pastes of mine you've received, but i also try to add something unique to each of my logs, not always easy when i grab an LPC. I completely understand the TFTC logs as i receive alot of those as well, or a simple smily face.

Welcome Scott & Peg, I am Honored to have you here as fellow Members. I really am. I have to confess that I do C&P's as logs too at times, though I make them Much more than simply "TFTC! " I too get a lot of those logs as an Owner and I agree, they're a bit stale. At least one can do is make a semi storied C&P for the caches they find in a single day. I try to do that when I have a bunch to log at the end of a long day of traveling and caching. Some folks Are all about the numbers, and I hope that others don't look at me in that way, thou sometimes my actions might suggest otherwise. But look at many of the caches that I own. A lot of Micros, and sometimes there's not a lot that can be said about them and there's Definitely no Swag to be traded in them. I've started turning that aspect around by really working harder on the hides I own. Though still only Micros, I've added Challenges to the Terrain levels and am starting to think Outside of Expected. I also hope folks enjoy the Scenery as well. I really Enjoy the Country Roads Drives myself. Latest Hides are my Country Roads series. I'm sure you're familiar with them as you were just in the area. Small defense of the C&P though is time. Like when we got back from your caches at Willow Slough, man it was late but I wanted to get the logs in before bed. A lot of C&P happened that night, and I hope I did a lot better than just the plain old TFTC. (I'm pretty sure that I did) So... No you didn't offend me at all, and I hope my C&P's didn't offend y'all too much either. If you remember or look back, I took the rest of the Clan to get the caches that we missed from the night before. We had a lot of Fun with them all too. I'm still looking for places to "borrow" a couple of your hide ideas if you don't mind.
Another C&P excuse (maybe not a good one?) is Parents doing the TFTC C&P thing for the kids that don't log in time. My daughter is one that has in the past not followed up properly with logging caches. She's getting better though cause I've been buggin' her about it. I'm still working on that as well.

OK folks, I think I have one to top Scott & Peg's pet peeve. Reading through some emails of cache logs that I have on my Watch List, I ran across Several of these, and this is Not the first time I've seen this crap. I can't Stand These! "Logged from my phone using the Geocache Navigator by Trimble" ~ (or any such similar Automated log...) I mean, C-Mon!! I know Technology is pretty cool and all, but Jesus Crisps!! Y'all can't come up with ANYTHING to say about the Geocache hunt and have to rely Totally on Tech to make a Found it Log? That... just trips my trigger. I mean... Jeeze! How weak can you get?
