Hi everyone we're a group of six local friends, LB; Bre; Lou; Kate; Jess; and Sam, we just started caching 2 days ago, we are quickly racking up the local caches, looking forward to getting out of the area to do some caching.

Welcome to the Forums! It's always good to see new folks here at the forums as well as having more folks get into geocaching or camping. Sometimes Bryan and I get out into areas a bit further away from just Kankakee County, and we'd love to have you join us on the next caching run that takes place somewhere else. There sure are PLENTY of places to go and find caches! ;D Just not sure when the next trip might be. That, of course, is somewhat a Bummer. At any rate, I hope to see y'all on the caching trails soon. And have fun while your checking things out here at the forums. Thanks for stopping by!

we actually know a couple of the local cachers, Bre works with Blaird, Lou knows Yarno, and my(LB) brother chaches out of joliet with his girlfriend, he set up the "bubba keg" cache

Maybe more Log In ID's would be helpful, huh? Instead of a mass group of 6 friends, maybe 3 couples could have separate log in ID's? I'm just sayin', ya know? It would be easier to get to know each other better on a more of an Individualized basis, rather than a big group of friends with one spokesman representing all. YarnoDe is a member here, though he doesn't participate much. Bummer. I've met him though and he seems like a cool guy that I would go caching with. YarnMe (his brother) on the other hand, I've never met and he's not a member here at the forums at all. The bubba keg cache was a good one! I had a good time with the Terrain on that one and so did my daughter. The Mrs. (wisely) stayed behind on the way down. But he's from Joliet? IMHO, that's too bad. Cause that makes me think he's not gonna hide too many caches here in Kankakee County due to the distance involved in Maintaining them. I'm just sayin'.... cause I think I have a few that are a little too far out to be Easily maintained. I'll take care of what I have already (of course....) but I'm hesitant to do any more hides that are a little too much out of the way. Just a few thoughts from me this evening.
