Do this long arse drive up North on the 30th with the 5/5 cache, and I think we can make something of this one at the same time. GC28. Man, that IS old! Wow.... and it's still Active? Holy Smokes!
I have to let y'all know though. As I get older, my ambition for heading North is getting weaker and weaker each and every day. I'm no Spring Chicken anymore, and by nature I am just a whole lot more comfortable in more rural areas Away from crowded traffic and congestion. I mean, if I was up to that sort of travels, we could have well over (what, 1000??) caches by now ourselves. As you can see though, we're nowhere close to those numbers.

ISSUES! For the folks who don't know, the .ods file opens with Open Office's version of Microsoft Excel. It's free to download, and it looks like I need to do that again, for I can't get it to open right now. My problem not you folk's, but I thought I'd better inform y'all at the last. I believe it's available at openoffice.org . A quick Google search will give you good results. Next Issue! BRYAN!!! The Bookmark Link tells me that the Delete List cannot be confirmed. Huh? I don't want to Delete it, I want to Read it! ... ~ So, ya gotta fix that one sir.

Back on Topic: Good Luck with the job. Surprised you haven't heard back yet, but still wishing you well on that. Thanks for the Driving again. 1:00 PM, you're place should be good. I'll offer up gas $$ again like last time. I hope Leanne can come along, cause Kari isn't gonna make it, unless a Halloween Party can get shifted by a day. Man, she sure is a heck of a lot more Social as a teenager than I ever was. So fix that Bookmark List Issue while I reload Open Office, and we'll be good on the list I think. Then maybe we'll get more than just our two families involved in a trip this time. That would be Great!! ;D

Yes, I tested that out too.

I hope he can make it. It'll be great to meet yet another cacher Live and in person. I'm glad I got the right Bookmark list up here. Now I'm gonna work on the Open Office thing that I didn't get to last night. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to the trip for caches. Been a while since we've been out on the hunts!

Had to Reinstall the Open Office program, but it worked like a charm! Again, the spreadsheet looks Great. Thanks Much!! ;D
This leads me to a GSAK Question that's been buggin' me for a while. Another Topic will be started for that one.

That's Good News, sir. Congrats!! ;D Especially with the pee poor job market around here.... Actually, that's good news for two reasons. My mom had planned a Halloween Party for that evening as well for Daughter and friends, so we had a conflict on my end that I now do not have to worry about. I guess I'll be spending some time there instead, until the noisy group really drives me nuts. Then I'll go home... I've taken the Event off the calendar. Announcement canceled as well. We'll see what might come up at another time. Again, Good Luck at the new job!

As for heading North ... hahahahaha Scott you said it yourself.. your getting old.. lmao... What can I say, Craig? My EYES don't like driving at night anymore. For the record, I'm 40 and Bryan's just turning 27. And he isn't wearing Glasses yet. (I have been doomed with them since the age of 14?)
And the driving deal up North... I'll tell ya what. I ain't gonna lie to anyone here, it really does take a stronger soul than me to be able to cope with the vicious Traffic up there, especially at Night. Knowing Bryan and I, I'm darn sure that this trip would go well into the evening. I've been there, done that, and I just know where my limits are. I could tell stories, but I doubt that anyone's really interested in them. Just in case, go ahead and ask me about a certain Tom Petty concert that a High School buddy of mine had us go to back in the mid '90's. Wow! The concert was great and I'm glad we went. But I learned a valuable lesson that night. Do NOT pull over to check on a Map while on the Dan Ryan Expressway!!! I'll tell you what, it's a Good thing I had a Turbo Charged car at the time! Now then, can you imagine what a trip like this would be like while also attempting to keep my eyes on a Hand Held GPS unit? IMHO, it would Not be a wise choice to make Me the designated driver. I'm just sayin'....

since i was driving i was planning on fixing my brakes, glad i did it anyway... i knew better than to drive it after they started squealing, by the time i could afford the new rotor i was missing half of the old one. the brakes were less than a year old but they had exploded for a lack of a better word, must of been defective when we got them, Auto Zone was surprised at the state of them when we exchanged them (gotta love life time warranties)
