My name is Linda and my husband is Dave. We are grandparents of 6 lovely grandkids. We have 3 children. 2 daugters are married and 1 son is getting married this fall.
Just found this forum this morning. Always wondered how many fellow Manteno / Kankakee neighbors Geo cached! My husband and I have been "hunting" for the past 3 years. We plan our vacations around camping and caching! We have 3 Labradors who go every where with us. Although one is getting too old to do much hiking any more. In May of 2010 we went to the UP of Michigan. The caching and water fall viewing was GREAT! This year we are going to Devils Lake State Park in WI. Already planning 1 or 2 days of Geo caching there.

Welcome From the frosty lands of Canada ... near Toronto ... I (we) don't do the caching thing, but we do camp... I met Mr. Scott through a couple other camping forums and seem to keep following him around... Still haven't met him in person (and might regret it if I do... something about chili and someone's cooking ...lol) Anyways welcome, pull up a chair and share in the virtual campfire... Oh and BTW ... it is almost time for everyone to de-winterize those water systems and get ready to camp .... <ahemm ..cough..cough> you know who you are..

Thanks for the welcome! Can't wait for the warm weather to get here. Last time we camped was Thanksgiving Weekend.
Snow, what do you camp in? We have a 26 foot Puma trailer. We also own a 10 foot pop up for the kids and grandkids to go with us. Got a good deal on it last year.
Cowboy camper, we did 2 caches of yousr yesterday! TSA and Country Road 4! Awesome hides!
