Placing this here, while although I'm getting it from a caching web site, it also can involve camping. Linking a thread from the gc.com forum forums.groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=287256&st=0&gopid=4969725entry4969725I thought I put it into my log, but it looks like I didn't. This is one of the caches that I use to own, but was adopted out when I moved, its a difficulty 1.5 terrain of a 1, its GC20DYM The White Tower of Minas TirithI was out doing a maintenance run with my wife, and we were stopping by all of our caches, this was one of the last ones we did for the day and while walking across the flat, handicap accessible terrain, I placed my foot into a gopher hole, and almost broke my foot, instead I injured the tendons in the arch of my foot, and almost put me out of work for a few days.

Gophers do run amuck in that trail area dont they. i would walk home from school through there when i was in middle school. love that place. any how, I was going for the 10/10/10 event in perry farm. Now the cache i was going for was OBCJY's 1000th cache i was nearly stabed in the kidney by a huge thorn. i'm not exadurating the size of this thing when i say it was about 6 inches long. after i logged this online someone put a band-aid in the cache

If I remember right, I ran into the soft spots in that park too. And cowboy Boots do not bod well with soft spots in the ground, especially if hit with the heels.
Also, at OBCJY's 1000th, I remember running my motor bike toward that one. While that was fun, I had to have hit my spare fuel container on a thorn too... cause it was leaking pretty good when I finally got the bike back up to the trail. OOPS!
I think the worse thing I ever did though was (hmm, actually I can think of a few...) but blindly going in the direction of the Arrow on the GPS sums it up. First cache I ever went on happened to be the first time this happened. Several Times on the trails, I've found a much easier way to get out of GZ, compared to how I got To GZ.
