This is more of a Repair for the lost Original Shelves that came with a Double Dorm sized Fridge I use at camp. But since I did the work myself, I suppose we can call it a Mod. Anyhow, I have a small fridge that I use outside the camper instead of having to deal with melting Ice in coolers, and having my food get soggy. (not nice... ) I call it Double Dorm size, as it it about twice the size of the Dorm Fridges that are Cubical in nature. For those who have a pop up with a Fridge built in, that's the cubical Dorm sized type of fridge I'm talking about. Anyhow, (again) my double dorm fridge came with no shelves when I got it. I had added a thin plywood "shelf" over the open drawer some time ago, but I always thought something better could be done. You'll see this in the first pic, and you'll also notice that it's gotten rather nasty over the years of use and storage. Again... not good. So... along come some wire shelves like what you can buy for Closet Organization at home. I don't remember where I got these from, but I knew immediately how I could use them to my advantage. With a little bit of cutting and trimming to fit, I've made a heck of a nice transformation to that outside fridge. BEFORE: AFTER:Heck of a difference, huh? Note also, I decided that the drawer proved to be a waste of space. We don't use that while at camp anyway, so why leave it in there? (well, we used it.. but it wasn't an Efficient use of the space.)
